25th Annual Christmas for Kids

Everyone thinks there's nothing to do at the Lake of the Ozarks during the "off-season," but that simply isn't true. This Sunday, one of the greatest annual events at the Lake returns for its 25th year: Lake Area Christmas for Kids!

25th Annual Christmas for Kids

Christmas for Kids is a fantastic, fun, formal event designed to raise money and provide toys for children in need at the Lake of the Ozarks. This year, the event will be held:
  • On Sunday, December 14th
  • At 7:00 PM
  • At the Lodge of the Fours Seasons in Campana Hall
In addition to a simply wonderful evening out with other members of our great community, participants will get to enjoy hors d'oeurves, a cash bar, and a silent auction. Bands Spontaneous Serendipity & Captain Geech And The Shrimp Shack Shooters will provide the entertainment for the evening. Admission is as follows:
  • $15/Person + one new, unwrapped toy
  • Additional $20 without a toy
Participants must be 21 or older to attend.

Toys Needed for 2014

Every year, the charity organizations who will receive the donations raised through Christmas for Kids submit a list of that year's most desired toys. Some of the top toy requests this year include:
  • Star Wars
  • Frozen Dolls and Accessories
  • Country Music DVDs
  • Ninja Turtles
  • Harry Potter
  • Littlest Pet Shops
  • Pokemon
  • Books (for all ages)

Big things are happening at the Lake of the Ozarks! This Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM marks the grand opening for one of the Lake Area's hottest new attractions: the Ozarks Amphitheater ! Ozarks Amphitheater Grand Opening - Thursday, June 18th In order to celebrate their grand opening, the Ozarks Amphitheater will host a fantastic concert with FREE ADMISSION to anyone who wants to come!
